UP RIVER LAUNCH & SHUTTLE

Let us transport you up river in our comfortable shuttle for groups of 4-12** paddlers per trip for a leisurely paddle down river back to our hotel location.

$9 - Transportation of you and your kayak to the launch site with a minimum of 4 other paddlers renting kayaks. We do not take any responsibility for your kayak during transportation.

INFO & WHAT TO BRING

Check the weather here as we may suspend rental operations if inclement weather is expected during your paddle. We will do so if lighting, strong winds or thunderstorms are expected during your rental.

Remember that paddling is a physically demanding activity. Both rivers are calm, you may encounter currents or strong winds which increase the effort.
Wear comfortable clothing for the weather and sun (lightweight, synthetic, etc.).
Stay hydrated. We offer bottled water for $1.
You will likely get a little wet as you paddle.
Water shoes or boat shoes recommended. Sneakers are fine, but they will get wet.
Bring and use sunscreen.
Wear a cap or hat if you are sensitive to the sun.
Sunglasses are recommended to reduce glare on the water.
We recommend one or two paddlers take a cell phone for communication or emergencies. We are unable to rescue you if an emergency arises. Call 911 for any emergency on the water. We can provide a plastic bag to help keep phones dry or we offer cell phone dry pockets you can purchase.
We do not recommend kayaking if you do not know how to swim or are uncomfortable around water.
Note that the water may be cold or uncomfortable early in the season.
Both launch areas could be wet & muddy, so you may get your feet or shoes wet or muddy.

DIRECTIONS & FREE PARKING

We're behind The Inn at Harbor Shores, at the end of the west side parking lot. Proceed past hotel front entrance to the west side, and then to our location at the end of the parking lot ... we're on the water. Parking is free.
